We were raised by entrepreneurs. And, are keenly aware of the unique challenges they face. Often feeling as though they have to choose between professional success and personal fulfillment.
But, we believe that there's a path to achieve both.
In 2022, we founded The William Stanley CFO Group to provide the tools, insights, and partnership necessary for entrepreneurs to optimize and fortify their businesses. Facilitating professional success without sacrificing what matters most.
He was born in the 1940s to a hardworking, second-generation Italian family. A natural entrepreneur, he was driven by an unwavering commitment to provide for his loved ones.
With a relentless work ethic, his professional success was built on long days and frequent business trips. But that dedication often meant less time at home, and we didn’t see as much of him as we would have liked.
Everything changed when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in his 60s. The diagnosis brought an unexpected pause to his busy schedule, leading to deep reflection.
One day, as we sat together in his Baton Rouge home, he said softly, “Michelle, I did it wrong. I worked too much and didn't spend enough time with you kids. I’m sorry. This life is about relationships. Always focus on the relationships.” It was a rare moment of vulnerability, where he shared his deepest regrets and acknowledged the precious moments lost along the way.
Our founder's father embodied resilience and sacrifice. His legacy serves as a powerful reminder to live with intention and cherish the relationships that truly matter.
We honor his enduring legacy, today and every day.
Ronald William, 1949 - 2022
Born in rural Iowa in the 1940s, he was shaped by the challenges of his time and became the cornerstone of his cherished family.
A defining moment came in the 1980s, when the air traffic controllers’ strike and their subsequent dismissal cast uncertainty over his career. But through adversity, his resilience shone through.
With his wife and children by his side, his family was his greatest source of strength. Together, they persevered, proving that solidarity, love, and partnership could overcome even the toughest challenges.
He was a champion of integrity, fostering a home where every voice was valued and ambitions were supported with unwavering dedication. His belief in the power of family extended beyond his role as a provider, making him a guiding presence who led with empathy, strength, and conviction.
Our founder's father-in-law embodies values of unity, commitment, and resilience. His influence continues to echo through generations, and his legacy of family and strength remains a guiding force.
We honor his legacy, today and every day.
